Intervista alla Brutal band Craniotomy

craniband.jpg

Una breve intervista che vi farà scoprire alcuni retroscena della loro nuova release Supply of Flesh Came Just in Time

2. La vostra ultima release Supply of Flesh Came Just in Time mostra ai brutal hmk una grande copertina…probabilmente la vostra cover art più riuscita. Cosa ne pensate?

Grazie mille.

“Relationship is great. Fans are great.”

He he he. L’ispirazione è ovunque: vita, TV news, films, etc.

Abbiamo messo in rete un nostro brano e abbiamo scritto all’etichetta.

Abbiamo band attive come
Infinity Within, Typhoid, Mortally Infected.

Thanx a lot. Yes is really nice picture . Our friend from Isid.. studio made it. He had more offers for us and we choose this. This picture don’t have any deeper meaning. It is only brutal.

3. Why, as your previous full length, the last labour is approximately 30 minute long, like the most important brutal LP? Is it a conventional approach?

We thing that 30 min is O.K. for listening this brutal music. If you listen longer that you don’t want to listen it in the nearest time again. It is the same like on our gigs. We paly 30 min. Fans like it but if you play longer they go drink beer  he he he

4. After more than 10 years, how Craniotomy has changed? About your professional life…what’s your worst regret, and what’s your best satisfaction?

We are the same guys like 10 years ago he he he. Just a little bit nicer.
We love make a music and play gigs and we don’t have any bad experience with regret.
For us is the best satisfaction when people like our music and after our gigs come to us and drink some beers with us wearing our T-shirts. Support us.

5. Bethinking relationship between fan and the band…what we can said?

Relationship is great. Fans are great. In the past was more fans on concerts and less behind computer but it is o.k. Metal heads around the world are very great people. They like this music by their hearts. We have lot of friends everywhere.
People supporting our band.

6. Your lyrics talk about sickness, brutality and violence. How grow up your inspiration? We can consider some filmic influence?

He he he. Inspiration is everywhere: life, TV news, films, etc. Than you put there your thought and mix everything and you have a good brutal gore story. Some lyrics wrote our friend and he is gore manic.
Of course, that we are fans of horror films. We like watching zombie stories. 
Our guitar player Roman is the biggest horror fun from the band. He had all sickness horror films.

7. Amputated vein records is one of the most important brutal label, you can talk about your meeting?

After our sojourn in studio we put one song on internet and wrote that we looking for a label. At the same day Masukatsu wrote back that he wanted to release us. It was the greatest news for us.
After this he sent to us suggestion of contract. All requirements for us was great and then our collaboration was began.

8. Under the wings of Amputated what’s change?

Lot of things. We have a great promotion around the world. We have real company which
is interested about us. Now we make a new songs for the next album and we want release it at Amputated too.

9. If should you consider brutal Slovak scene, who you would warn?

Slovak brutal scene is very small. We have here some bands which are
active Infinity Within, Typhoid, Mortally Infected.

10. I fight always against digital music, specially into metal world, because i think that a cold music without booklet, lyrics, cover art is a impoverished music. What do you think about?

Yes man you are right. But in this digital world we can’t STOP it. On the other site, this is a good promotion for little bands. Metal heads around the world can listen million bands and if they like something they can buy the CD.
